We recently used Ashtons Legal for the purchase of our first home and couldn't be happier with the service we received. A special thank you to Kathryn Smith and Sienna Vincent, who were excellent throughout the entire process. They were responsive, efficient, professional and always willing to answer our questions, no matter how small. Communication was clear and timely, and they consistently kept pace with us whenever we needed information or decisions quickly. Buying a house can be stressful, and we'd heard plenty of horror stories from friends and family about conveyancing solicitors. Thankfully, our experience with Ashtons Legal was the complete opposite. Kathryn and Sienna helped keep everything on track, proactively dealt with issues as they arose, and gave us confidence throughout the transaction. The service was worth every penny and we would not hesitate to recommend Ashtons Legal to anyone purchasing a property. Thank you again for helping us secure our new home.
I found the overall process to be very smooth and straightforward. The explanations provided were clear and easy to follow, and the initial quote remained in line with the final costs. I particularly appreciated the transparency regarding each step and the associated fees from the beginning.
Alice Trainor was the solicitor who dealt with my case and I found her to be a great communicator who is not only reliable but, also, very capable. Should the need ever arise, I would have no reservations about using her again or recommending her services to others.
Many thanks to Lauren B, Kirsty H and the entire team at Ashtons solicitors Norwich with our second purchase of a house with them, always very professional, thorough and quick with actioning all items needed to complete our purchase. Would highly recommend to anyone considering them for conveyancing.
Ashtons Legal were recommended to us by the housebuilder we were buying our home from. As first-time buyers we were grateful for the team for their patience and for explaining the process to us. They outlined the costs for their services at the outset and anything additional was explained in advance, although this was minimal. Given the timing of our completion - just prior to the revision of stamp duty - they were obviously very busy but this didn't impact the service we received. Would recommend. Thank you.
I rarely leave a full star review but could not fault Ruth Burrell's performance when I extended the lease on my flat and went on to purchase the freehold. She has at all times answered queries and acted promptly. I have already recommended her to others and will continue to do so.
A really poor experience from the start; unhelpful, unprofessional and rude. Is my case still open? Who knows. Did I provide them a written scope which they completely ignored? Yep. Did I have to pay upfront? Yep - so there is nothing I could do once they stopped responding. Ashtons also seem to have no complaints procedure so will waste your time and money with no accountability. If they don't deliver what you asked, they should refund and not try to charge you even more to discuss the issue.
