Really disappointing conversation with Conor one of the paralegals at this firm. Called to try to book a consultation for a medical negligence claim and got a really bored sounding young man who had very little interest in hearing what I had to say. I explained traumatic things that had happened to me only to be met with a cold generic email within the space of half an hour saying they are unable to take my case. I had googled and this firm came up as one of the leading firms in Belfast and my experience with Conor on the phone fell far below that standard. I was met with an inexperienced and unsympathetic ear who told me they would call or email me to let me know if they would take my case. Upon saying I would like a consultation he advised me that he would have to speak to the health team for them to see if it was worth them taking it on. I tried to explain that I was not being given the opportunity to give the full context of my story and again he was unsympathetic. The most glaring problem with this conversation is that after Conor telling me he would email me, he then had to call me back as he hadn't even remembered to ask me for my email address. This cold and uncaring attitude within the health and social care sector is exactly what I was calling to address and the fact that it was replicated when trying to seek legal help to hold them to account is astonishing. I would not recommend this law firm purely based off this interaction as their frontline staff appear to be inexperienced and lacking basic personable skills when communicating on the phone with potential clients.
