If it were possible to give zero stars, we would. I do not normally leave reviews, but after the experience we have had dealing with this firm, I felt it was important to share it. Our experience dealing with this firm in relation to the administration of an estate has been extremely poor. The estate administration has now been ongoing for approximately four years, during which time communication and transparency have been consistently lacking. As beneficiaries named in the Will, we did not instruct this firm ourselves, but unfortunately have had to deal with them throughout the administration process. More recently, after attempting to obtain clarity regarding the status of the estate, we experienced repeated delays, unanswered emails, and direct questions being ignored. Even when updates were eventually provided, they still failed to address many of the reasonable questions we had raised regarding the administration of the estate, which only added to the ongoing frustration and lack of clarity surrounding the matter. On multiple occasions we were told that further updates would be issued “shortly” or within a specified timeframe, only for those deadlines to repeatedly pass without explanation or apology. Most recently, we were informed that a further update had already been prepared and was simply awaiting approval. Weeks later, nothing has still been sent and further correspondence has again gone unanswered. What has been most frustrating is not simply the delay itself, but the complete lack of accountability and transparency throughout the process. Even after formally raising concerns and requesting details of the firm’s complaints procedure, we still received no substantive response. We fully appreciate that estate matters can sometimes be complex. However, there is no excuse for beneficiaries to be left with so little information for such a prolonged period of time while communication remains this poor and inconsistent. At this stage we have entirely lost confidence in the firm’s handling of the matter and would strongly encourage others to carefully consider all available options before dealing with or instructing this firm in relation to estate administration matters.
