We worked with Lucy and Mia on our recent house sale. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with from day one. The online system they have at the start to help you input all the necessary information really helps with the process (completely different to when I last sold a house 12 years before!) Really attentive, great communication, inspiring complete confidence throughout the process. I would not hesitate to work with them again. It was a fairly lengthy house sale that had some ups and downs along the way with various chain collapses, so it was amazing to work with a solicitor that was so good - one less thing to worry about! Bridging Loan, with lots of curved balls! Not a problem for Lucy! At probably the most stressful time of our lives Lucy Spollin not only worked tirelessly to get our bridging loan over the line but also communicated with us throughout every stage of the process. I am ocd at the best of times but Lucy, and Mia, ensured my concerns were answered, kept in contact, helped to keep us calm and worked their socks off to get everything completed within our deadline. I cannot thank Lucy enough and have no hesitation in recommending Lucy to anyone buying or selling a property.

I'm extremely disappointed with my current dealings with Trethowans. I paid quite a large sum to help with a legal dispute I have and I believe we have been completely misled by our solicitor Taylor Anderson, adding more stress to an already stressful situation. Taylor quoted for work he was going to do but gave his 'final advice' based on none of the work he mentioned, but still managed to rack up 5 hours worth of time which he is charging us for. I really don't want to make a formal complaint against him as I'm already dealing with so much but I actually think I don't have much choice. Not impressed at all. Would not recommend. Note: after a response from Trethowans they also think it is acceptable to charge for an initial call before a client care letter is in place so be wary of this when you decide to get in contact. I don't believe this is correct procedure based on SRA guidance nor does Trethowans make it clear anywhere that if you do proceed with them the initial call will be invoiced.

If I could give six stars I would. Lucy Spollin provided stellar service regarding the purchase of my first property. She was punctal, informative and diligent. She even sent me replies to emails during holiday and after work hours, which I don't feel should be expected of anyone, but she went above and beyond. Thank you!
