What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Professionalism and efficiency are the themes that surface most often in feedback on this Bournemouth firm, whose work spans family, property, employment, criminal defence, estate planning and notarial matters. More than one customer describes being kept informed at every stage of a house sale or purchase, with named solicitors and support staff handling difficult transactions smoothly and answering queries promptly. The speed at which freehold issues were resolved and the calm manner in which stressful matters were managed come up repeatedly.

Honest, straightforward advice given at an early stage is also remarked upon. Those who dealt with Mark Hensleigh speak appreciatively of his commitment to defending a vulnerable client and securing an acquittal, while Hugo Haub is remembered for knowledge and efficiency, and Becky and James for guiding a sale and purchase through a difficult period. Reviewers frequently highlight the clarity of the legal position explained to them.

A number of accounts strike a different note, describing slow responses to correspondence, a sense that matters were not progressed, and dealings that felt dismissive, with particular concern about how a legal aid enquiry was handled and about communication and preparation in a criminal case. Family, conveyancing and criminal defence work all feature in these accounts, and the advice and representation clients received remain the clearest measure by which the practice is judged.

I cannot recommend Janine Bryant from Preston Redman solicitors highly enough. From the moment she took over my case until its conclusion, she was simply outstanding. Going through family court proceedings is incredibly stressful, but Janine made me feel supported, listened to, and reassured every step of the way. She was always compassionate, understanding, and genuinely cared about both me and my daughter’s wellbeing. I never felt like just another client. Janine’s professionalism and expertise were exceptional. She was incredibly responsive, often replying to my emails much faster than I expected, and she always took the time to explain everything clearly and honestly. She was always patient, reassuring, and gave me confidence that my case was in the best possible hands. What truly sets Janine apart is her dedication. I genuinely felt that she fought tirelessly for me and always had my best interests at heart. She was meticulous in her preparation, strategic in her advice, and unwavering in her commitment to achieving the best possible outcome. Janine is an absolute credit to Preston Redman. She combines outstanding legal knowledge with kindness, empathy, and integrity - qualities that are invaluable in family law. I will always be grateful for everything she did for me and my daughter. If you are looking for a family solicitor who is not only exceptionally skilled but also truly cares about her clients, I would recommend Janine Bryant without hesitation.

That score is generous. Was blocked from leaving a review.. If you want incompetent, useless solicitors they’re your people. Avoid they will lose you everything as they have done me, and unbelievably my elderly parents who should not have been put through this because of MY divorce. I have been put through 3 years of hell, because of Tim Flower. I will pursue.

They were provided to me pro bono. Didn't ask for my side of the story when I was I custody, didn't call me into the office to explain what would happen or prepare a defence. Didn't get to tell anyone what had happened till the trial had already started. Didn't enter evidence I had given them. Lost the case. Go elsewhere

My first experience of using solicitors - My main contact was Jodie but two other members also worked with me. I cannot fault the service at all, Jodie was extremely attentive and informative throughout my whole process. I will 100% use again in the future.

just now New This firm I would recommend to people really honest fighting for the truth using the law as it should be used to get justice for the innocent. I’m very thankful and grateful for (Preston Redman Solicitors) and especially (Mr. Mark Hensleigh) especially (Mr. Robert Grey)

I’m totally shocked with how appallingly they spoke to me. I was given their details by Civil legal aid advice team after being told I was entitled. As soon as Janine Bryant found out I was applying for their help with legal aid, her whole demeanour changed and she completely dismissed me making me feel like I was wasting her time. She had no interest in helping me and I’m so shocked that they would act so callously. Avoid them at all costs. Which will be considerable.

I have been with Preston Redman for 3 years for domestic abuse court order and my divorce . Mark Hensleigh and Elizabeth Coubrough were both informative professional and Althoigh the divorce process took over 2 years because of Covid and an ex who wouldn’t cooperate the work was completed and Elizabeth completed a Transfer of tenancy . I will be forever grateful for their help and their empathy for my predicament . Highly recommended
