I suggest that all clients keep a close eye on their bill breakdowns because they make lots of "mistakes" when charging their clients. This company is the worst option you could choose! I bet they will respond to this review faster than they respond to my emails. They do not respect their clients' instructions and take ages to reply to even a simple email. Their priority seems to be prolonging matters rather than resolving their clients' problems, allowing them to charge more fees. I had the worst experience of my life with a solicitor at this company.
I cannot recommend Pooja Patel highly enough. From start to finish, Pooja was professional, compassionate, and incredibly supportive throughout my case. Asking for general legal advice on behalf of my father, who has specifically instructucted me to get advice on a legal situation. We were told that its "policy" and "privacy laws" to get the person who it is for to confirm its ok to talk on their behalf. First, I'm not asking for private information, we are sharing information with you to give general first stage advice upon. If we felt your firm gave a realistic prospect of an outcome we would have it formally lodged as a case with all the right permissions. Your policy is completely flawed, theres no way that you can verify a person over the phone is who they claim they are, but yet its "policy" they need to hear "someone" say "its ok to talk for me". Policies that offer no robust basis or guardrail against something. At the end of the day, it was just advice we were looking, we got a load of policy this, privacy that.
