After reading reviews I was relieved that I’d found a reputable firm to take forwards the financial side of an amicable divorce that I’m going through. I completed an online form for an initial consultation. I was contacted within a couple of working days and spoke to someone helpful who said I’d get a call back. I did and spoke to a member of staff who took a LOT of details from me. They then said I’d be contacted for a consultation within a couple of days. A few days after this I received an email from, I believe, a paralegal advising that after carefully considering the matter they are unable to represent me on this matter and encouraging me to “seek independent legal advice as soon as possible”. I found this quite unsettling as this is a pretty straight forwards divorce with a nesting arrangement. Bizarre and unnerving
