Extremely Disappointing & Unprofessional Service I rarely leave negative reviews, but given our experience with Gent Law, I feel it is entirely justified to warn others. Communication was consistently poor throughout our time with them- in fact, we received more communication and reassurance from our new solicitors in just one week than we did in the several months we spent with Gent Law. To make matters worse, when we were already well advanced in our conveyancing process, they suddenly and unexpectedly ceased working on our case. When we asked for an explanation as to why they were dropping us mid-transaction, we were bluntly told they were under "no legal obligation" to inform us. Leaving clients stranded deep into a house move with zero accountability or transparency is completely unprofessional and immensely stressful. Fortunately, we transferred our case to a new solicitor who picked up the pieces seamlessly, handled everything without a single issue, and got us successfully into our new home. Save yourself the stress-use a firm that actually values client care and basic communication.
I can’t recommend Jodie enough. I’ve probably had the hardest and most stressful first-time buying experience of my life, and I pulled out yesterday. She helped me navigate the process throughout, always replied quickly to all my questions and gave me advice based on her experience, which really helped me make up my mind. I could have ended up chained to a property that would have brought nothing but misery to my life. Thank you!
A huge thank you to Charlotte, Miranda, and Lilly for all their hard work during our house purchase. They kept us updated every step of the way and made the whole process much easier than we expected. Friendly, professional, and reliable from start to finish. We truly appreciated their support and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent conveyancing team. Thank you for making our home purchase such a positive experience!
Tania and Fiona along with Hayley all worked very hard to get my house sold, before, on September 29th last year, Tania completed the purchase of my new bungalow, I then put my house up for sale, although the house was vacant, the buyer was, along with his conveyancer causing a delay after a delay. However once I’d given an ultimatum that if they did not complete, I would put the house back on the market, Tania as usual kept a cool head and the sale went through without any further delay. Everything was perfect. So I would certainly recommend to anyone to use them. The costs were industry average. Probably a little lower, but the service way above industry average. The buying process, back in September 2025! Well it had been a long time since I bought a house, the rules and regulation are a mine field, govt intrusion abounds, and I found out later the conveyancer can be heavily fined if they don’t do due diligence. So in the end all was well and Tania again kept a cool head. So if I was out of line sometimes, my sincere apologies, in the end though I realised I’d used the right people. Both to buy and to sell. Again to all three. Thank you and well done..
We had a great experience working with Charlotte, Leanne and Miranda as our conveyancers. They were always incredibly helpful, responsive and took the time to clearly explain everything to us throughout the process. As first-time buyers, we really appreciated how patient and thorough they were! We felt fully supported from start to finish and would highly recommend them to anyone.
I chose this firm after reading Google reviews and was pleased with the service I received. They were quick to respond, answered my questions promptly, and handled my property sale efficiently throughout. The only reason I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5 is that they don’t provide stamped addressed envelopes for returning documents. This wasn’t a problem for me as I live nearby and could easily drop documents off at the office, where the staff were always friendly, helpful, and efficient. However, that extra convenience would have made the experience even better. Overall, I found them reasonably priced and professional, and I would recommend them to anyone selling a property
We would like to sincerely thank Miranda, Charlotte, and Leanne for their excellent work throughout our property purchase. From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and extremely supportive. Every question we had was answered quickly and clearly, and we always felt well informed at each stage of the process. Their guidance made what can often be a stressful and complicated experience feel much more manageable and under control. We truly appreciate their patience, attention to detail, and dedication in helping us complete the purchase successfully. It was a pleasure working with such a reliable and efficient team. We would highly recommend their services to anyone going through a property transaction.
