Dawn Searles Notary

Dawn Searles Notary was established in 2014. It practises from Romsey and Southampton and can travel to client office premises in the locality. The owner has worked and lived in and around Southampton since 1996. Notarial services are provided to both individuals and businesses. The owner is a member of the Notaries Society.

Notaries are appointed and regulated by the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury. It provides the general services of a Notary Public in Romsey, Southampton, and surrounding areas. A Notary can authenticate or witness most documents and can arrange Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (Apostille) and Embassy legalisation.

Notarial work for documents destined abroad is the common thread in the comments left about this Southampton practice, spanning certification of identity and address papers, authentication of legal documents and material prepared for international associates. Timeliness emerges as a consistent point of agreement: enquiries are answered quickly, meetings are arranged at short notice, and pressing matters are accommodated within the window a client requires, including a request sent during a period of leave that was picked up within minutes and a slot found soon after.

The explanation given ahead of the appointment draws steady approval, with duties, costs and the steps involved set out clearly, making the process easy to follow. Dawn Searles is named repeatedly and described as approachable, careful, well informed and straightforward to speak with, while her conduct of matters is called polite and efficiently arranged. Follow-up dealings with the FCDO are found reassuring, with documents authorised and accepted as required. Identity and address checks are reported as handled swiftly and to a proper standard, and several clients return for further notarisation.
