I contacted Biscoes in early June 2026 regarding a complex community care matter involving safeguarding failures, disability discrimination, and statutory omissions by multiple agencies. Despite providing detailed information and updates over several weeks, I received no acknowledgement or response from the solicitor responsible (Andrew Spooner). The only communication I received was from the legal secretary, who repeatedly redirected me to the solicitor, but he did not respond at all. Given the seriousness of the issues and the length of time I waited, the lack of engagement and absence of any acknowledgement was extremely disappointing and left me without access to Legal Aid representation during an urgent safeguarding situation. This review reflects my experience of communication and responsiveness only.

My latest dealings with Biscoes involved the sale of a domestic property which was a HMO let to students. Negotiations were protracted and at some times difficult, they were handled professionally and with patience by Biscoes staff who also worked efficiently with my letting agent. All communication from staff was succinct and our response dealt with promptly.
