He went through all the little details on Zoom calls with me, answered all my questions and made regular phone calls to go through any documents to explain the wording and what everything means. This has been the most stressful thing I have ever gone through and Immar was very sympathetic and called me a couple of times to check how I was feeling and reassured me, which always made me feel a lot better. I knew I could trust him with my case and not once did I have to chase him about anything as he was highly organised and never missed any deadlines.
Immar and Mahnoor were absolutely amazing from my first call straight to through to my court case. Brilliant service, I have zero complaints and I will be recommending you guys to anyone I know. Thank you so so much for all your help and your support through this whole ordeal. You do an amazing job. Sameena x
Hello, and I’m really sorry that I was unable to attend to this matter earlier. Please rest assured that I have now contacted SKB law directly with the following correspondence. Formal Complaint – Failure to Provide Services After Receipt of Fees To: Complaints Partner / Practice Manager SKB Law Bradford Date: [Insert date] Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the service provided by your firm to Ms Sapna Rattan, whom I referred to SKB Law in good faith. Ms Rattan approached your firm during an intense and protracted marital dispute with her estranged husband, who has displayed coercive behaviour and sought to curtail her lawful entitlement to marital assets, savings, and other jointly held interests. She was, at the time, in a vulnerable and highly anxious position and required clear, timely, and professional legal guidance. Without taking any further substantive instruction, your firm requested an upfront payment of £300, which was stated to be for work you would undertake on her behalf. This payment was duly made and, to the best of our knowledge, received and banked by SKB Law. Ms Rattan was expressly advised that she should expect imminent correspondence, by telephone or email, providing further guidance and outlining the next steps following the initial advice given. Regrettably, no such correspondence or follow-up ever occurred. Despite payment having been taken, your firm made no further attempt to contact Ms Rattan, provide advice, or progress the matter in any way. This absence of engagement left her in an extremely distressed and uncertain position, particularly given the sensitive and urgent nature of her circumstances. Given that SKB Law publicly presents itself as a consumer champion, this lack of action following receipt of payment is deeply concerning and falls well below the standard of service reasonably expected from a regulated legal practice. I would therefore request that you: 1. Provide a written explanation as to why no follow-up advice or communication was provided after payment was taken; 2. Confirm what work, if any, was undertaken in exchange for the £300 fee; and 3. Advise what remedial action you intend to take, including whether a refund is proposed. Please treat this letter as a formal complaint under your internal complaints procedure. I would expect a full written response within 14 days of the date of this letter. Should this matter remain unresolved, Ms Rattan reserves the right to escalate the complaint to the Legal Ombudsman and, if appropriate, the Solicitors Regulation Authority, without further notice. I trust this matter will now be addressed promptly and professionally. Yours faithfully, Seb Abbasi (On behalf of Ms Sapna Rattan)

I have used Shire Solicitors for the sale of my home in Bradford. I live in London and relied solely on the exceptional service provided by Aneka Shoukat. She has been extremely helpful throughout the selling process. I have been consistently updated with even the smallest of details. This is the kind of service I wish all solicitors could provide!! Moreover, Aneka has always returned my calls and where I haven't been available she has emailed me to ensure I get the message. I have no problems in recommending Shire and have lots of positive experiences dealing with Aneka. Keep up the great service!!!
Shire solicitors have provided us with a first class, professional conveyancing service, I couldn't have recommended them highly enough. Sidraa Razaq was a pleasure to work with, and was always ready to answer any queries we had. I would certainly recommend them, and would not hesitate to work with them in the future.
