Notary: Six months ago I didn’t even know what a notary was but during the process of losing a loved one it was not only necessary to find out but also to make an appointment with one. I managed to find one in Derby. There are not many notary’s available any more as solicitors have similar qualifications and rights, however a notary’s stamp works internationally where as a solicitors stamp may not. In this case I needed a notary. I Googled a few and came across Gurjit. I gave her a call and a few texts and booked in an appointment. On the day of the appointment it was really easy to find and communicate with Gurjit. Gurjit was helpful prior to the appointment and during the appointment. Make sure you have everything prepared. Gurjit stamps everything you require and goes by your direction. You may need witnesses, in which case they need to be present with you at the time. I recommend this to make things easier at a later stage. Be sure to have evidence of your witnesses proof of residence. Other than this, the process was smooth and efficient. I can’t recommend Gurjit enough. Very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and supportive. I thought this process would be long and difficult but she made it the absolute opposite. Thank you Gurjit.
