The worst of three different family law firms I appointed for my complex case. They are not competent with matters that are any more than standard and straightforward. Clearly visible that the Solicitor appointed was inexperienced in the specific matters I required, yet proceeded to try and over inflate her knowledge. Biased from the start and ultimately I overpaid because her advice on how to progress the matters was overkill. Upon court hearing, judge ruled in my favour within a quick 30min hearing and all the other evidence gathering I had been charged for (against my desire) was not needed and wasn’t even reviewed by the judge. These people just charge for excessive amounts of admin when courts are too busy and do not require the level of detail clients are told to collate.
I cannot recommend Charlotte highly enough. From start to finish, her service has been impeccable. She is exceptionally thorough, leaving no detail unchecked, and her professionalism shines through in every interaction. Charlotte took the time to explain complex matters clearly, kept me updated at every stage, and made what could have been a stressful process feel completely manageable. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated, meticulous, and genuinely committed to achieving the best outcome for their clients. A truly outstanding solicitor.
They claim to give a free consultation but the form submits to a spam call system on SalesForce that pretends to call you and cancels right away and sends an immediate email saying they couldn't get in touch. They will not phone you back for any free consultation, it is a scam.
Despite astronomical fees, I received very weak advice and limp representation resulting a disastrous financial outcome. Poor attention to detail especially in the final stages of the Arbitration Process resulting in my interests not being represented robustly. “The only national law firm dedicated to family matters” ….no dedication or specialism in my case regrettably
Amy Turner at Stowe and Law solicitors has been working on dealing with my affairs through a divorce. Amy gave advice and support when needed and tells you as she sees it. Amy gave options through out the process at every stage that I could take without pushing me into an option and respects your decisions. Amy worked tirelessly to achieve the aims that I asked her to deal with efficiently and professionally and wasted no time when receiving emails. Amy judging by the time of emails i received works long hours to achieve her targets. Amy is a pleasure to work with and will follow through on what she says she will do, you can rely on her to get the work done.
