Didn’t make things clear demanded £2000 for just a telephone call, if your a single mom on a budget think twice. Make your points clear and ask for a total cost, than have them extort money from you for just a phone call.

I really hoped from all the 5 star reviews that Kabir would be a great firm to help us with a family application to Court for child proceedings. Their office was pretty responsive (hence the two stars) but overall the value and quality was terrible. We went into things knowing that there was no guaranteed outcome, but we had expected better service than what we received for an extraordinary amount of money. The application they prepared was littered with spelling and grammatical errors (including consistently spelling the child’s name wrong) that we had to fix ourselves. I felt they didn’t listen closely during our calls and were always rushing. They also were very, very focused on the financial aspect and they were incredibly overpriced for what we ended up receiving. We have instructed an alternate solicitor now (THEY ARE NOT SOLICITORS by the way for anyone else reading) and our new solicitor has suggested the application was overly aggressive and not what the court is looking for, hence why we didn’t get the outcome we had been told was highly likely by Kabir. We worked with Mo who I don’t believe is even from the Newcastle office - but he did seem friendly enough at first. We were then shuffled around to colleagues who we didn’t even really get the names of during the calls. I’m not sure how they have 5 stars - my recommendation is find someone else, anyone else! Kabir is definitely not worth the money they charge and I feel the quality of what we received was of the same standard as something I could have done myself.

Straight talking honest and practical advice all the way through which has helped me protect my son against his father badmouthing me during most contact sessions he had. My previous solicitors were so ineffective and I just wish I had found Kabir Family Law earlier. I would highly recommend their services.
