Appalling communication from Olivia and her “assistant/partner” in Conveyancing. Told one thing from Olivia and another thing from the other member of staff which resulted in a set back on our completion date. We had gone 2 weeks at one point without hearing back from her and whilst we were in an important stage of our completion, she left for annunal leave with no communication or proper hand over to another solicitor (her assistant/partner) who then also had no clue and gave us the wrong information and said the opposite to what Olivia had previously told us. We eventually spoke with the Manager of Conveyancing (I believe that’s the title) who was AMAZING and so so helpful. She stayed in contact and informed us of every single thing. She stayed behind at work to make sure things were completed and made our final completion date possible. We were reassured that certain solicitors would be getting further training to better their knowledge so hopefully that is true because when you’re paying a Solicitor 4 figures you expect to recieve correct information, support and professionalism.

Churchill Living recommended Ison Harrison for the purchase of my retirement home and that turned out to be great advice. I was assigned a dedicated person, Olivia Williams, ably assisted by Olivia Robinson who guided me through the whole process. So impressed was I, by the early contact, that I asked them to handle the sale of my property as well. Throughout my dealings with the two Olivia's they were professional, courteous and responsive. No problem was too small and they handled my queries and concerns with empathy and understanding. The target dates were all met and in my view it was a very satisfactory experience. I wouldn't hestitate to recommend Ison Harrison and in particular Olivia Williams and Olivia Robinson for any conveyancing work you require.

This is going to be a long one so I will leave the TLDR at the bottom. As first time buyers my wife and I were quite anxious going into this whole process. We did not actually know anything about Ison Harrison. Once we got talking to Olivia Robinson everything became quite clear that we were in amazing hands. She completely understood that we were first time buyers and I especially wanted to know everything about the whole process and everything going on behind the scenes. Olivia took the time to walk me through everything even when it was parts I did not need to know she still told me which I cannot thank enough. She completely understood all parts of anxiety buying our first home and helped us through every question we had. We have had multiple calls and only god knows how many emails back and forth with Olivia Robinson and not once did she come across rude or anything. She stayed professional and friendly and when stress levels and emotions are high this is exactly what you need. Even after me asking the same questions over and over again she was still happy to help. We expected the Solicitors to quite frankly cost a lot more then it did just because of how much extra work it felt Olivia Robinson was putting in if I am honest however the cost of the Solicitors was well made. I would recommend Ison Harrison and specifically Olivia Robinson to other First Time Buyers given the chance. TLDR - Ison Harrison are great. Olivia Robinson is one amazing solicitor to work with.

Ison Harrison solicitors in York, were absolutely brilliant in getting us into our new Keepmoat home in Gainsborough, and I'd like a special mention to Olivia Williams and her colleague Olivia Robinson. They were very proactive in pushing forward our exchange and completion and very reasonably priced, what they quoted, I actually paid, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a conveyancing solicitor 😊
