Gough Thorne LLP

I have recently used them for my two sale and one purchase. I had good experience with them in terms of service. But in terms of money, it’s lot of misleading from new business team. My all 3 transactions amount was increased by 40-50% at the completion. Which I strongly believe is misleading from initial stage to get business in. I bought property through them back in 2020 and was selling same property through them this year. Their own firm didn’t do right thing initially in title deeds when I buy. They charged me 250+vat for not doing their own thing right. Also one of my purchase get failed during process and they charged me 1280£ fees, even after I gave them 3 property to purchase and sale. 250-+vat was charged to draft one page of document because it wasn’t in management company pack where they already charged 300£ extra for dealing with management company. There were many charges I didn’t agreed but I had no way back cause it was at completion stage. They give £100 discount at last where I have no choice. A big shout for Afrine in Jenifer’s team. She is absolutely excellent in her job and very supportive in all my 7 months journey with them. She act with pace and urgency with all matter. I recommend Gough Thorne definitely for their services but only if you willing to pay 40-50% extra than average other solicitors. Regards Chintan Shah

Hannah from Jennifers team did a good job and was available most of the time when we had questions regarding the selling of our house and the purchase of our new one, however when she wasn't available there was always someone else from the team who could help us. It was easier getting them to do both transactions. On the whole they made the process clear for us and kept us updated on the progress with only a couple of prompts from me.

We used Gough Thorne for the sale of our property and couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Every step of the way through the process to completion was made so easy by a great team. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would highly recommend Ebtesam Mubashir as a conveyancing solicitor. The process was handled efficiently, and Ebtesam kept us informed at every stage, responding promptly to our queries and ensuring that everything progressed as smoothly as possible. Her clear communication, attention to detail, and commitment to providing a high level of service were greatly appreciated. Thank you, Ebtesam, for your hard work, support, and dedication. I am very grateful for your assistance and would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for a reliable and professional conveyancing solicitor.

Highly recommend Gough Thorne. We recently used them for our remortgage and help to buy redemption. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received throughout. We dealt with Andrew’s team - specifically Manisha. She kept us informed at every stage, explained everything clearly and was always available to answer our questions. What could have been a really stressful process was a smooth process thanks Manisha and Gough Thorne.
