From selling and buying our new home, Connolley & Company were excellent from start to finish would highly recommend using this company and would use them again in the future.

Me and my partner were recently advised to use connolleys and company during our move. Our experience was poor at best sadly. There was no chain, it was just a single purchase of the property. There was a help to buy attached but all the documents were in place and the solicitors were given as much notice as possible about deadlines. The entire process took over 5 months. There was a complete lack of communication from there side. It didn’t actually seem like they knew what they were doing. We had to prompt them to do the necessary things to get it done. However, they missed the first deadline by not giving the buyers solicitor enough notice, which then cost us an extra RICS survey. Jodie was then rude on the phone telling us the ball was back in our court and they couldn’t do anything until we sorted it (the RICS survey). Communication from Connolleys and Company was poor throughout the whole process. Right up until completion we heard nothing, we called on the morning to ask if we were still on for exchanging and completing. We were informed that hopefully yes it should complete. Upon asking if we needed to give authorisation, we were told we would just find out when it was done. We had a brief email upon completion to say all done and we were told our funds were on the way. However we had to call them over three hours to query when the funds would arrive, only to be told our transfer of funds was not the priority due to many house purchases taking place that day (even though the keys had already been handed over to the buyers). We are disappointed with our customer experience and would recommend strongly using other solicitors if possible.

My conveyancer, Debbie, was brilliant at making the purchase as quick and as smooth as possible. She was very thorough with her checks and provided regular updates when required. She answered questions quickly and processed paperwork at a phenomenal speed. I couldn’t recommend her enough. The rest of the team were approachable and friendly. I will always recommend this conveyancing service to my friends and family. Thank you!
